Cord is 171 inches in length. Fits all wooden style skiers, NordicSport, and Club models. Plus series skiers use a special Kevlar cord, please shop in the plus series section if you have a Plus series.

It is very simple to install the arm cord. You need to untie the cord inside of the grips, or you can cut the old cord, remove the knob, spring, bearing assembly, then lift the drum assembly off the skier, flip it over and unscrew the four screws, then lift the metal plate off. At that point you will see two notches in the drum, pull the old cord out and put the new cord in those notches. Then pull the cord so both ends are even and then put the metal plate back on. You may want to use a little dab of Elmer’s glue on the thread of the screws as this helps them from coming loose. Now wrap one end of the cord 2.5 times to the left and then wrap the other end of the cord 2.5 times to the right. Make sure you do not overlap the arm cord over each other. Install the drum with cord back onto the threaded stem making sure the cord is coming from the bottom of the drum going up to the opposite side pulleys.

It’s very important that the cord is coming out at the bottom of the drum and then wrapping up the  opposite pulleys. If the cord is coming out at the top of the drum to the pulleys then it will criss cross over each other and wear the cord out within a couple months.

I so needed this for my NordicTrack. Thanks for your advice and getting my skier working just like I hoped for.
